Meet the Drauden Point Librarian

I graduated from Lewis University with my Elementary Education Teaching Degree and began my teaching career in Darien School District as a 6th grade Math, Language Arts, Science, and Social Studies teacher for 6 years. I earned my Master’s Degree in Library and Information Science at Dominican University.

I worked as a High School Math Homebound Tutor for Indian Prairie School District #204 for 10 years. For 3 years I was a Special Education Paraprofessional at Heritage Grove Middle School.

Both my kids attend Plainfield North High School.  I enjoy volunteering in Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts with my kids.

Mrs. Carolyn Licata
